missed out explanation of my 4th point of my first post
suppose my company has two kind of leaves.casual leave and earned leave.and we have holiday only on sunday .monday to saturday is working.
if an employee take casual leave from a saturday to monday only 2 leaves will be deduted. sunday will be not counted.but if an employee take earned leave from sat to monday 3 leaves will be deduted from his earned leave account.holidays in between leaves will get counted only for few types of leave

I see. I do agree that holiday feature is important, it's already in my todo plan ^^

Er... I am a little bit confused now, why Sunday should be counted as leave for any reason?

thats the kind of leave policies of few companies. for few types of leaves ( especially long leaves ) they will count holiday in between them also as leave

But what's the logic behind this? Employees might as well separate the leave application on Saturday and Monday, instead of applying it once.
