HR.my R7 update

HR.my - HR and Leave Management R7 has just been updated, here are some of the important highlights:

New:

• A new Employee Self Service Leave Application (e-Leave) module, which allows employees to apply leaves and also check leave application status via their Employee Web Account, and it's FREE!
• A new Leave Schedule / Planner module, which allows employer to see monthly leave status of employees by Department or Branch. If Leave Planner mode is activated, all leave applications pending for approval will be displayed together with approved leave applications as well, hence facilitating employers to plan for workforce availability before making decisions on leave applications.
• A new Leave Type module to add, edit or delete different leave types for a company.
• Salary Adjustment in Employee Web Account now displays salary details, such as variable pay information.
• Employee Directory shows employee name now.

Change:

• The Employee Web Account module of the HR.my front end has been completely rewritten, which produces a much better user experience and responsiveness.
• Employee Contact Inquiry has been renamed to Employee Directory.
• Clicking at any employee link in the Alert Window of Employee Web Account will go to Employee Directory.

Fix:

• Leave Type Availability check is now workinng properly.
• Some information such as Superior, Spouse Passport, Spouse Religition, Spouse Ethnicity and Number of Children now display correctly in the Employee Web Account.
• And many many more other fixes that I don't even know how to describe

What's next:

And as usual, just drop me a note for whatever improvement that you would like to see in the next release. I will try to make it into the to-do list, but sometimes due to time constraint, some feature will require more time to implement.

Hi,

1. May I know what do you mean with 3 level approval for leaves? Any example?

2. & 3. For public holidays and off days, plus carry forward of unused leaves, you have to do it manually for now. I will figure out how this is to be done later.

4. I don't understand your question of: "how can i set few kind of leaves include holidays between leave period and few exculde holidays occuring in leave period?"

1. I still don't get it. It may also mean 4 level or even more levels for approval? Is 3 level approval your current company's practice?

2. This feature is not supported yet, but it's already planned.
