Payroll is calculating wrong was created by Ding Sue Yue
I have just created an account with HR.my and are testing out the functionalities. I have encountered 2 serious issues with the payroll.
I have created 2 test employees
Employee A effective date 2022-03-01
Employee B effective date 2022-07-18.
I processed the July 2022 salary, selecting all employees. Employee B received full month salary instead of partial salary based on start date. I then processed the March 2022 salary and select all employees. I expected the system not to show or allow selection of Employee B since the start date is in July 2022. To my surprise, it display the employee and allow calculation of salary for Employee B.
Does the system validate the effective date when calculating salary? There are 2 major issues with using hr.my payroll processing.
1) Unable to calculate prorated salary based on effective date.
2) Able to process salary for employee in the month in which they are not yet employed.

1. At present moment, HR.my does not validate against effective date yet, may be at a later stage.
2. For partial salary, you will need to use Deduction to manually handle it for now. Automated calculation is planned, but not supported yet.
