Some employee is also director of enterprise company, which socso does not allow them to contribute.
How is the system able to handle?

Thanks!

1. Do you mean no SOCSO contribution for their basic salary?
2. Isn't SOCSO compulsory regardless of position or role?

I would like this feature too.

Because SOCSO will not consider the director/owner as "eligible employee". I have prove for that. In my letter, it said, reason:

[Not eligible to register - Owner]

Also, SOCSO is only compulsory to those who only have less than RM3000/month salary. For those who received more than that, if they still want to be included in SOCSO scheme, than they need to fill in a voluntary form.

Excerpt from SOCSO website:
www.perkeso.gov.my/en/social-security-pr...oyee-eligibilty.html

Employees who are eligible for coverage and protection under the Act are:

i. Monthly wages of RM3,000 or less.

Employee who receives a monthly wages of RM3,000 or less is eligible under the Act and required to register and contribute.

ii. Monthly wages exceeding RM3,000 with Option Notice

Employee receiving a monthly wages of more than RM3,000 and is not eligible under the Act, however he can still be covered upon mutual agreement between employer and the employee by submitting a notice in the specified form, together with Form 2.

Hi,

I have just updated HR.my to support employees without SOCSO contribution. Kindly log into HR.my and edit respective employee by going to Employee Management->Select Employee->Edit->Salary->SOCSO->No Contribution.

If you don't see the 'No Contribution' option in the SOCSO field, then kindly log out HR.my, clean the cache of your web browser and log in again.
