Sorry, if this is a repeated question.
I am from India. We have Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) for employees.
I added this component under Statutory contribution as TDS, but it didn't show up in the Salary slip under Tax. So I tried creating a component called Tax under Statutory Contribution, but it says that the component already exists, but I don't see it. I would like to add the tax component, and get this printed in the Salary slip and List Page also.
Please help.

The "Tax" component is likely set to Inactive already. On the right query panel of Statutory Contribution, just search for Active = No records.

Hi Sir, Can i know why there is no tax amount appear after i have done a salary adjustment for staff from RM10k to RM3500? Even i try to adjust to RM4k and back to 10k, the system can't auto recalculate the tax amount anymore. What should i do? Thanks

Delete the processed payroll and reprocess.

I have gone to payroll history to delete the payroll and reprocess, the tax amount is still '0' at RM4k.
Am i doing correctly. Please advise. Thanks
