Hi, I applied for 1 day annual leave and the leave was was fully approved. But i decided to come back to work in the 2nd half of the day so my actual leave was only 1/2 day and not 1 day.
1) So how do i edit my approved leave application ?
2) Or do i have to cancel the original full 1 day leave application ?
3) But if i cancel the leave application, must I now apply for 1/2 day emergency leave instead ? Cause in my company any leave within 3 days is EL.

Hi, please check with your company HR, as this is company policy issue.

Hi bro. Thank you for the quick reply.
But lets put aside any company policy and reprase my question :-
1) an employee has applied for 1 day annual leave.
2) the leave is approved by the management.
3) the employee then goes for leave, but decides to reduce the leave from 1 day to half day. So the employee comes back to work on the 2nd half of the day.
4) so now the actual leave taken by the employee is only 1/2 day and not full day.
5) But how does the employee edit/change the approved leave from 1 day to 1/2 day ?
6) Can the approved leave be edited .. or have to cancel and reapply a fresh application ?

You can't edit. You can only request your Admin to cancel the previous leave and apply another half day leave again.

Or, alternatively, your Admin can edit it to half day directly.
