Prorate Leave was created by Julie
Hi Chew
I have a staff that joined us on 21/3/22, resigned on 28/10/22 and her annual leave entitlement is 15/yr.
Do I fill in the dates as follows under Leave Management -> Annual

Earning Policy : Prorated
Earning Start: 21/3/22
Valid From : 21/3/22
Valid Until : 28/10/22
Entitled: 15

Would appreciate your confirmation/clarification on this.
Thank you.

Without knowing the reason why you are asking so, the entitlement setup looks correct to me.

Did you see wrong balance using this setup?

Hi Chew, no worries. The balance was incorrect as I keyed in incorrect validity date. Thanks for your prompt reply.

Hi Chiew
I'm having problem changing the validity date from 31/12/22 to 28/10/22.
Error message stating that there are some existing leave applications that are later that the new Valid Until and so on. I have cancelled all the relevant leaves for Nov and Dec 2022 but still not able to change. The last AL that she has taken was for 11/10/22. Not sure how to proceed from here.

You have to DELETE those conflicting leave applications.

Is there a delete option for approved leave? The leaves that I have cancelled are no longer shown on record.
