Leave entitlement calculation wrong was created by Danny

Hi Kap-chew,

As you can see from the above screenshot.

Entitle: 10days
Earning starts on 2020-11-20
Earning: Prorated-daily

Balance: 6.33 days?

Shouldn't it be more like about 1.x day?

Please let me know if I did anything wrong.

It's calculated until TODAY, 9 July 2021, which would be irrelevant to your case as it is only valid until end of 2020.

But I have set Valid until to 2020-12-31

The balance is showing the wrong calculation then?

Shouldn't the calculation show the balance from earning start to valid until?
2020-11-20 to 2020-12-31

Entitle: 10days
Earning starts on 2020-11-20
Earning: Prorated-daily
Valid until: 2020-12-31

2020-11-20 to 2020-12-31 = 42 days

Balance: 10/365 * 42 = 1.15 days

Shouldn't it be like this?

When you use 365 as the base, it only means the Entitlement is for 365 days, not for 42 days.

Instead, you should enter 1.15 days as Entitlement for the remaining 42 days.
