Sorry for being not clear. It was still accessible when logged in from an employee account.

ps. BTW, I'm unable to paste screenshots or attach files, is it just me? (have tried on different browsers)

You must have something done wrong. I have just checked by setting up an employee for such purpose, both Admin and Employee modules work correctly.

I can see the employee on birthday alert in the Admin module, but not Employee module.

I think my settings are correct, can you please take a look.

Also, can you tell me how I can share screenshots here? I can't seem to paste or attach it.

I am able to reproduce the problem.

1. Create new employee account
2. For the above new employee, goto Employee->Management->Directory->
a. Employee Role = Employee
b. Employee Information Accessible By->Birthday->Set to Not Accessible
c. Save&Close
3. Login in to the new employee account created above in another browser
4. On the home page, under Alert->Birthday is still visible with a clickable link which opens the page of another employee (the birthday person)

Hi,

Just so that you will understand, an employee can ALWAYS view his/ her own record.

You should try to login as another employee instead.
