About the Workshop

This three-day course is essential for those who want to acquaint themselves with Microsoft Project 2010 (MSP) and to use the tool to effectively plan and schedule their project. The course commences with a discussion on the principles of project management in line with those suggested by the PMI.

The course covers all aspects of Project scheduling, monitoring and tracking, together with how these techniques can be applied in a given project context using Microsoft Project 2010. There are no pre-requisites and individuals from any domain or industry can attend this three day course.

The theory presented during the course is supported by a number of practical exercises and case study that demonstrate the effective use of Microsoft Project 2010.

Instructor Profile

Nitinn Gokhle has more than 29 years professional experience out of which 22 years is in the Project Management domain. He has been designated as a Module Leader, Asst. Manager - MIS and Senior Project Manager, Project Quality Manager and as Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Manager. 

Nitinn has been a professional trainer for more than 10 years. He conducts trainings in the areas of PMP preparation workshops, Project Management, Microsoft Project, MS Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and Software Estimation Techniques. He is passionate about project management and dedicates himself to share the skills and techniques that he has learnt during his extensive career. Nitinn also teaches courses on Risk Management, Requirements Management, UML and MS Visio.

Nitinn has trained professionals across geographies including in Malaysia; Thailand; India; Africa and Oman. He has taught professionals from large corporates and multinationals such as Thomson Reuters, Novartis, IMB, Avaya, Bank of America, Honeywell Automation, Yokogawa, Siemens Information Systems, Voltas, UNISYS, The British Council, ATOS Origin, etc.

Besides trainings, Nitinn provides consultancy on Enterprise Project Management (EPM) including support on Installation and Deployment of Project Server 2007 with Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 for managing projects. He has also led consultancy engagements on Project Management Maturity for Nigerdocks Nigeria covering a group size of 70+ staff. 

Nitinn holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Statistics, Diploma in Computer Science and also, a Diploma in Computer Management.
