Dear KC

Kindly note followings:

1) What is the significance of the salary effective date? To keep the salary without change I have to also change the date.

2) For eg after I have processed the salary for Aug15 I realised that I have included travelling expenses in EPF contribution calculation so I unticked the EPF option in travelling allowance and my Aug15 salary also automatically changed.
My worry is that if a mistake is made in unticking how to ensure historical data doesnt get distorted..

1. This is to allow employers keep track of historical change of salary. Instead of overwriting previous salary adjustment, HR.my allows you to add new adjustment record, hence there is this Salary Effective Date field.

2. O, in this case you will need to reprocess the payroll for Aug. The rest won't be affected if you do not reprocess them.
