Dear KC

Is your system down for maintenance or what?

I have been trying to do edit but not able to save.

Does your system goes down often?

When do you normally do your system maintenance and how are we informed?

Your early reply most appreciated!

Thanks

Hi,

The system is not under maintenance, may I know what happened to you? I just tried saving and it's OK. Usually I will do system maintenance when there is no user login.

Thanks

Dear KC

Now seemed to be working fine.

One other thing. I am not quite sure how your variable pay works. I have already set up the various codes and amount but when i went to look under employee, management , salary it is not there. The salary is there though. How come?

O, you have to go to Employee->Management->Salary->Edit, or go straight to Payroll->Salary Adjustment to add new variable pay to existing employees.

1) But when you go to salary adjustment you are not able to save until you change the basic salary also. How to go round this when we are just adding variable pay only.

2) Also after processing I noticed that when I changed the statutory contribution to the variable pay the EPF amount was changed also for the month payroll. So how do we ensure payroll that has been processed will not be affected by subsequent changes to the conditions?
In other word, how can we finalise a month payroll?

3) On the other hand if we discover an error after finalisation how can we make the change?

4) How can we print the EA form?

5) What other report or from can we print? How?

6) Do you have a payroll system for Singapore?

My apology for asking so many question but really new to your system.

Thanks

1. You don't have to change the basic salary. You have 2 ways of doing this:
a. Edit an existing salary record, then adjust the variable pays in this record
b. Create a new salary adjustment record, enter the same basic salary as existing one.

2. I don't really get you here, an example may be?

3. Yes, you may process the payroll again

4. Not available yet

5. Ha, this is also same situation, as we don't know what reports users may want yet, so reporting will be done on a per request basis, i.e. the more users request for a particular report, the sooner we will roll it out first

6. Nope

It's OK, all questions are welcome, including suggestions ^^
