Hi,

a staff earning RM3K has accidentally paid RM24 for tax for November payroll 2013, how do we get it reimbursed? Or do we proceed with providing her an EA form 2013?

Hi,

Your staff will get the reimbursement directly from Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia after they submit the tax return (BE form) or via income tax eFiling .

In your case, you may just proceed with the EA form 2013 so that your employee can file her tax return accordingly.

Thanks.

Hi,

Basically allowances are also considered a form of remuneration for income tax purpose. You may click to check out for the types of remuneration subject to income tax .

Hi,

As an employer, you have to make sure that you fill up the form such as EA for your employees, which will state ALL the income that you as an employer has paid to the employee, not just the particular amount that has been deducted for tax.
